Wall-Gate? Are you serious? And Week 15 picks.

Sal Alosi has not only been suspended for the rest of the season for tripping a Dolphins special teamer, he has now been banned indefinitely by the New York Jets for ordering that players line up on the sidelines during punts.

Are you serious Jets management? There was nothing illegal about lining guys up as long as they stay on in the appropriate area, so why the punishment? If anything, he should be praised! How ingenuous was it that he was keeping special teams guys from running out of bound on their sidelines? Not just opponents, but all players on the field should be on the field, not gallivanting out of bounds – even if they are forced there.

If I were coaching in the NFL, I would employ that sort of strategy on every play. Would it not be a competitive advantage? Sounds like a good ploy to me.

The lines are from Vegas and the home teams are in CAPs.

Kansas City (pick) over ST. LOUIS
Even if Matt Cassel plays, I like the Rams at home in this one.

Jacksonville +5 over INDIANAPOLIS
The Jaguars are seriously frisky and have already beaten the Colts once. If anything, they can get a late cover like Tennessee did.

Arizona +2.5 over CAROLINA
Even though the Cardinals are still technically in post-season contention at 4-9, this is really a battle of two of the worst teams in the league. Take the points.

Cleveland +1.5 over CINCINNATI
The Battle of Ohio is going to be battle to for fans to keep their eyes open. This one will be rough but the Browns at least play hard.

Buffalo +5.5 over MIAMI
The Dolphins are bad at home and the Bills should enjoy getting to visit the south for a weekend in December.

Philadelphia +3 over NEW YORK GIANTS
The Giants loss of Steve Smith is a rough one considering how battered their receiving core has been recently. The Eagles should take this one and the division title.

DALLAS -6 over Washington
This the Cowboys’ Super Bowl, as opposed to the real one they’ll be hosting in February.

Detroit +6 over TAMPA BAY
The Lions defence looked great last week, even before Aaron Rodgers left the game. Josh Freeman might be in trouble.

BALTIMORE -1 over New Orleans
Talk about a battle of the titans. These two teams are playoff bound, but I’ll favour the home side.

SEATTLE +6.5 over Atlanta
With the Qwest Field advantage for Seattle, this could be a good upset special this week.

New York Jets +6 over PITTSBURGH
While taking Mark Sanchez against the Steel Curtain is scary, so will be the hits that the Jets put on Ben Roethlisberger.

OAKLAND -6.5 over Denver
The Broncos were destroyed by the Cardinals and now face the frustrating offence of the Raiders, have fun with that.

NEW ENGLAND (NL) over Green Bay
Tom Brady at home, plus Aaron Rodgers concussion, plus the Packers other injury woes plus the Patriots looking like an absolute powerhouse equals you can’t make this line high enough.

Chicago (NL) over MINNESOTA
It’s either Brett Favre or Patrick Ramsey starting for the Vikes, plus they’re playing outdoors in Minneapolis. Not good for the Vikings.

This week: 1-0
Last week: 8-8
This season: 110-92-5
