The only Euphoria in Christian Pulisic’s life comes on the soccer pitch.
The American soccer star is shutting down rumours that he is dating actress Sydney Sweeney, calling the tabloid reports “fake news” in recent posts on Instagram.
The AC Milan attacker took to the social media site on Sunday to tear down the seemingly baseless reports that he and the red-hot actress are romantically involved.
“Please stop with the made up stories about my personal life,” Pulisic wrote in an Instagram Story on Sunday. “Need to hold sources accountable it can affect people’s lives.”
The U.S. national team captain also called out a post regarding the rumours by Motivating Sport, replying to a post about Pulisic being in “the form of his life.”
“Fake news guys let’s stop with the silly rumour,” he commented on the post, generating thousands of likes on the social media platform.
The Milan winger also shared some snaps from his team’s 3-0 win over Hellas Verona FC on Sunday, which helped the club move into second place in Italy’s Serie A.
Followers on social media were quick to hit the comments with gifs featuring the blond bombshell.
During the game, Pulisic netted his 10th goal in just 15 appearances so far this season, with eight coming in league play — good enough for second in the league behind Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martinez’s nine goals in 16 games.
Off the field, Pulisic reportedly has been dating pro golfer Alexa Melton for more than a year. While they don’t often appear in social media posts together, the couple did a “soft launch” on Instagram in July 2024 while on vacation in Turks and Caicos.
Sweeney, on the other hand, has been romantically linked to longtime music manager Scooter Braun since September.
The pair were seen together during the Los Angeles premiere of Sweeney’s latest movie, The Housemaid, earlier this month.
She has yet to comment on the Pulisic dating rumours.
