WWE icon Hulk Hogan always boasted about the size of his massive biceps, but now it’s the size of his estate that is making headlines.
The legendary professional wrestler reportedly left US$5 million in assets after his death in July, according to court documents filed by his son, Nick.
In the docs, which were filed Tuesday and obtained by Us Weekly, Nick is seeking to be named co-personal representative of his late father’s estate alongside Hogan’s financial advisor Terry McCoy.
The Hulkster’s eldest child, Brooke Hogan, is not listed as a beneficiary to his estate – a status she reportedly had requested in 2023.
The former world champion wrestler, real name Terry Bollea, died age 71 on July 24 at his Clearwater, Fla., home after suffering from acute myocardial infarction.
According to Us Weekly, Nick claims his late father executed a will in 2016 and amended it four times, most recently in July 2023.
The new court files came to light as part of a lawsuit Nick has filed against radio host Bubba the Love Sponge, real name Todd Clem, in a bid to block the release of the Hulkster’s controversial sex tape.
Nick enlisted the help of McCoy to handle the lawsuit after requiring a curator appointed to the estate.
Nick claims that the documentary, which is rumoured to centre around the sex tape that also features Clem’s ex-wife, Heather, infringes on the late wrestler’s copyrights.
In the filings, Nick, 35, is revealed to be the only designated heir to inherit his father’s estate while Hulk’s widow, Melanie Sky Daily, was acknowledged as the surviving spouse.
According to the outlet, the filing shows that Hulk left behind $200,000 in cryptocurrency, roughly $800,000 in personal and intellectual property, and publicity rights valued at $4 million. A potential medical malpractice lawsuit with an undetermined value also was listed.
However, not listed in the documents were Hogan’s real-estate holdings, which are believed to be two nieghbouring properties in Clearwater valued at an estimated $11 million.
The New York Post said it reached out to Hogan’s estate for comment but has not received a reply.
Clem responded to the lawsuit on his show, saying “they’re suing the wrong people” and claiming he doesn’t have ownership of the documentary in question.
“I don’t own any of it,” he said in a video shared on X. “You dumbass. Did you watch it? Do you realize your father is not portrayed in a bad light at all?”
The radio host also said that he felt the lawsuit is “just a bunch of garbage.”
“Nick, how much more money do you need, buddy?” he added. “You’re suing me. Do you know the things I’ve done for you?”
