NFL WEEK 13 PICKS: Can the 49ers handle business in Philadelphia as a favourite?

The lines are from Sportsbook Review and the home teams are in CAPs.

DALLAS -8.5 over Seattle

They didn’t get the cover, but the Cowboys finally beat a team with a winning record and did a good job of overcoming a deficit.

NEW ENGLAND +5.5 over L.A. Chargers

Look, it’s crazy to bet on the Patriots right now, I know. But… it’s not like the Chargers are in a spot where you’d feel good about them spotting almost a TD to anyone, on the East Coast in December, no less.

Detroit -4 over NEW ORLEANS

The Lions’ big weakness is looking like the back end of their pass defence, which makes this game interesting for one reason: The Saints are likely to be missing their three best WRs for this one.

Atlanta -2.5 over NEW YORK JETS

The Tim Boyle experience is something else. The Jets’ rushing defence also ranks second-worst in the league, which should mean a big day for the Falcons’ run-heavy attack.

PITTSBURGH -5.5 over Arizona

The Steelers got their much-needed boost on offence after the firing of Matt Canada have a real chance of racking up 400 yards for the second week in a row against the Cards’ subpar defence.

Indianapolis -1 over TENNESSEE

The Titans have a couple of small advantages here (Jonathan Taylor hurt, coaching) but the Colts beat Tennessee once already this season and have a passing attack that can exploit the host’s defence.

Miami -9.5 over WASHINGTON

The Commanders defence has been awful, giving up 29+ points in four of their past five games, costing DC Jack Del Rio his job. Well, they won’t be getting any sort of new coach boost with the explosive Dolphins on deck.

Denver +3.5 over HOUSTON

The Broncos defence has very much jelled since their well-documented early season woes. The Texans’ past seven contests have been one-score games, so it seems likely that we get another close one here.

Carolina +5.5 over TAMPA BAY

We’ve seen it before and we may see it again – are the Panthers in line for a new coach boost? Firing Frank Reich should be enough to motivate the Cats against a division rival.

San Francisco -3 over PHILADELPHIA

The 49ers have been an absolute buzzsaw since their bye week and adding Chase Young has taken the defence up a notch. They’ve won their past three games by a combined score of 92-30 and also have the rest advantage. Key lineman Lane Johnson also is banged up for the Eagles, which doesn’t bode well.

L.A. RAMS -3.5 over Cleveland

The Browns could be down Myles Garrett on defence, Amari Cooper at receiver and may be starting Joe Flacco at QB. The Rams offence looked fantastic with Kyren Williams back in the lineup last week and should have the juice at home to beat the Browns.

GREEN BAY +6 over Kansas City

We’ve got a Packers team that is starting to put it together after some early growing pains and Jordan Love is showing he can be a franchise QB. The Chiefs are once again a Super Bowl contender, but are they playing well enough to be spotting this many points at Lambeau with the Bills looming next week?

Cincinnati +8.5 over JACKSONVILLE

We have a feeling that everyone is going to be on the Jags for this one, but the Bengals weren’t too shabby against Pittsburgh last week, even with Jake Browning at the helm. The Jags offence has looked good the past two weeks, but that came against defences much worse than Cincy’s.

Last week: 9-7

This season: 84-91-5
