Super-Sad-Beas?

There is something wrong with Michael Beasley. To see why, you must first view the following picture that he posted on his Twitter account (which has since been deactivated). It’s still on Yahoo! though, so have a look.

First of all, what an awful tattoo. Why would anybody in their right mind get the word(s) Supercoolbeas tattooed that large across their shoulders? It looks hideous and makes you really think that there’s something wrong with the former second-overall pick in the NBA draft.

Secondly, take a glance at the table in the bottom right corner of the picture. Those with keen eyes will note that there is a baggy. Now, I’m only assuming, but could there possibly be some drugs in there? Plenty of people have speculated as such, but it’s nearly impossible to tell unless you have CSI quality image enhancement.

But, that horrible tattoo wasn’t the only troubling thing coming out of Beasley’s Twitter page. The posts: “Feelin like it’s not worth livin!!!!!!! I’m done” and “I feel like the whole world is against me I can’t win for losin” were reportedly on his site and attributable to the young star. Now, those are some pretty intense statements, even on an often impersonal internet site.

So, after finding out all these facts about the Miami Heat’s second-leading scorer, it might come as no surprise that Beasley has entered rehab for depression. And in Houston of all places, where he reportedly went for training to “get away from it all.”

Let’s all hope that he can recover and continue what will surely be a great career. But, hey, maybe he’s just depressed about the tattoo.
