To put it lightly, former star NFL running back Marshawn Lynch thinks all Jayden Daniels needs is some self-love after his latest arm injury.
Daniels, the Washington Commanders quarterback, suffered a gruesome-looking arm injury during Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys — one that caused NFL legend-turned-commentator Tom Brady to swear during the live broadcast.
During this week’s episode of the Da Get Got podcast alongside former Seattle Seahawks fullback Michael Robinson, Lynch offered some rather unique advice to Daniels on how to avoid those types of injuries in the future.
WARNING: Explicit language
“You know who I feel bad for? Jayden Daniels,” Robinson began. “Did you see his elbow, man? That s— looked bad.”
Lynch then launched into a wild rant, saying that Daniels needed to be “ambidextrous” when he masturbates.
“That little n— need to start going to jack off,” Lynch said. “Get that motherf—–. He gotta go beat that.
“Look … I ain’t had (sic) these forearms. You see, though. Why you think (my) stiff arm was so cold, man? I was ambidextrous with this motherf—–.”
How long will Jayden Daniels be out?
Daniels’ dislocated elbow was his second in the past two seasons. Last year, he missed just three games before returning to action, but then aggravated the injury and was shut down for the remainder of the season.
It appears Daniels may be looking at a similar timeline after this latest injury.
According to Commanders GM Adam Peters, Daniels doesn’t require surgery.
“As of right now, surgery is not on the table and we have not discussed IR,” Peters said during a radio appearance on 106.7 The Fan in Washington, D.C., on Friday, per ESPN.
If Daniels were placed on IR, he would miss a minimum of four weeks, meaning the team feels its star QB should be able to return sooner than that.
What did they say about Caleb Williams?
In the clip, the former 2013 Super Bowl champions also spoke about Bears QB Caleb Williams, who acted theatrically after suffering what turned out to be a relatively minor injury.
“I know you saw Caleb Williams. He gave the wave. I’m thinking this is a ruptured Achilles,” Robinson said about watching Williams leave the field on a cart. “That is what you do when your season is over, bruh. A Grade 1 (hamstring strain). You knew you was coming back!”
Lynch replied, saying Williams would have been mocked by his teammates if he had been part of their old Seahawks teams a decade ago.
“If that’s something that happened in our locker room back when we was (sic) playing, we probably gonna bust hella jokes on (him) for a long, long, long time.”
