Who is college football’s hot new viral fan? Ole Miss alum shares wild DMs already pouring in

All it took was a few seconds on camera in the stands for one college football fan to go viral — and her inbox will never be the same.

A young, blonde woman was spotted by an ESPN cameraman nervously watching the third quarter of Sunday’s tight game between Ole Miss and Louisville, with the clip quickly going viral on social media as online fans fell for her.

She was later identified by X account Campus Cuties as Sara Smith, an Ole Miss alumni, and the post has since racked up more than 3.2 million views.

Since becoming Internet Famous, Smith has taken to TikTok — her Instagram account is set to private — to share some of the most interesting messages she has received.

What have people sent to Sara Smith?

In the video, which has been viewed more than 300,000 times as of Tuesday morning, Smith posted screenshots of some messages while blocking out usernames.

The first featured a “God fearing” man’s stats, to which she replied: “Thank you for the credentials.”

One asked if she wanted them to pick up anything from Whole Foods for her, while another asked what type of designer bag she would prefer from Paris (her answer was Louis Vuitton).

Then things got a bit weirder.

One DM simply read “Bankrupt me,” while another said, “Let’s make” with a baby face emoji.

Another said that they could “save” her, to which she joked that “I don’t think you can save me from what this football season is about to look like.”

One message wrote several long paragraphs complimenting her, while another compared her looks to “nacreous clouds” — rare, highly elevated polar stratospheric clouds known for their vibrant, mother-of-pearl iridescent colours, according to Wikipedia.

Another wrote that “your armpits are so overrated,” to which she agreed, replying “so true.”

But anyone hoping to win over Smith should be in for a rude awakening: She is happily engaged and has shared several clips on TikTok modelling her engagement ring while positively beaming with joy.

The Knoxville native surely will be hoping for a second straight win this coming weekend when Ole Miss hosts Charlotte.
