The lines are from Covers.com and the home teams are in CAPs.
HOUSTON +6 over Buffalo
The Bills defence remains a problem for themselves while the Texans defence is a straight-up PROBLEM for opponents.
Minnesota +6.5 over GREEN BAY
The jury is out on J.J. McCarthy, but Minnesota defence will still cause problems for the Packers, who have looked pretty rough at times since losing Tucker Kraft for the year.
Indianapolis +3.5 over KANSAS CITY
The Colts come back off their bye, but are running into a Chiefs team that should be getting increasingly desperate. Something to watch is how good the Colts have been using play action while the Chiefs have struggled mightily against it.
CINCINNATI +7.5 over New England
The Bengals defence can’t contain even bad teams, but the potential of getting Joe Burrow back and being spotted a touchdown is just too tempting here.
CHICAGO -3 over Pittsburgh
It doesn’t really matter if it’s Aaron Rodgers or Mason Rudolph, it’s the status of Jaylen Warren that should worry anyone thinking of backing the Steelers in Chicago.
New York Jets +13.5 over BALTIMORE
Benching Justin Fields is only going to make this Jets team better – and probably good enough to keep this game within two TDs. Lamar Jackson and Co. haven’t exactly been at their best, either.

DETROIT -10 over New York Giants
The Lions have a spectacular record coming off a loss and have been a steamroller at home. Jaxson Dart is likely to return from his concussion, but that little spark won’t be enough.
Seattle -13.5 over TENNESSEE
It’s a huge line, but the Seahawks are just so much better than the lowly Titans, who surely are headed for another top-3 pick in the draft.
ARIZONA +3 over Jacksonville
The Jags’ big win over the Chargers might throw people off their scent, but this isn’t a team that we’d feel comfortable backing as a favourite on the road across the country. The Cards will be looking to bounce back after losing big the Niners.
Cleveland +4 over LAS VEGAS
This is an ugly one for sure. While it’s painful to back Shedeur Sanders, the Raiders are on a short week and have looked awful. Their offensive line is hopeless to stop Myles Garrett.
Philadelphia -3.5 over DALLAS
The Cowboys scored an emotional win on Monday night, but that high rarely carries over. The Eagles are just too tough and will have Jalen Carter to wreak havoc in this one, unlikely in Week 1 when he was ejected early on.
NEW ORLEANS -2 over Atlanta
The Falcons being forced to go with Kirk Cousins isn’t completely terrible against the mediocre Saints, but also losing Drake London is what pushes them over the cliff’s edge.
L.A. RAMS -6.5 over Tampa Bay
The Bucs are getting one more point against the Rams in L.A. than they got in Buffalo, where they got run all over. The Rams are even better than the Bills and should shine in prime time.
SAN FRANCISCO -7 over Carolina
The 49ers defence remains putrid, but the Panthers have been awful against the run and we should see Christian McCaffrey pile up the yards and TDs in prime time.
