France’s Corentin Moutet may not have a “big serve,” according to American tennis star Danielle Collins, but his return game is pretty strong.
The Frenchman fired back at claims made by Collins that he had flirted with her over social media before unfollowing her.
During an interview with Tennis Channel’s Steve Weissman, Collins, 32, and the host spoke about a recent alleged interaction between Moutet and Collins on a practice court.
“He was shouting at you, he was cat-calling you,” Weissman began, before Collins stepped in to pick up the storytelling.
“I basically said to him: ‘If you’re going to be flirting with me like that, you’re going to have to get a bigger serve,’” Collins said.
“Some people think it comes down to height, some people think it comes down to personality, but really what it comes down to is big forehands and big serves.”
Collins, whose brutally honest dating profile went viral last year, alleged that Moutet — who is listed as 5-foot-11 — unfollowed her after she claimed to be a “no short kings zone.”
“You have to understand that I’m 5-foot-10 and, for me, right, it’s fair,” Collins said during her interview from the Miami Open. “It’s just a preference. Nothing against the short kings. But he was upset about that and messaged me and then unfollowed me.
“He slid back into the DMs last night asking me if I saw his match and all the big serves that he was hitting.”
How did Moutet respond to her claims?
Moutet, however, has a different recollection of any alleged interactions with Collins.
The Frenchman, who ranks No. 347 in the world, said that he has never even followed the American and that it was Collins who reached out to him as a potential mixed doubles partner.
“How can I unfollow you when I never followed you?’ Moutet, 26, responded on X, reposting a clip of the interview.
“Tennis Channel how can you let someone say BS like this on TV.
“You followed me, you asked me for mixed (doubles). And I’ve never even followed you.”
Moutet also called out Collins for allegedly trying to manufacture drama to get media attention.
“You ready to say anything so people talks about you,” he wrote. “You should learn how to love yourself so you won’t have to do stupid things for people loves.”
What did Collins’ dating profile say?
After ending her relationship with tech executive Bryan Kipp in late 2025, Collins went viral after her dating profile appeared online.
She wrote that she is looking to become a “trad (traditional) wife” and have children soon, while also ruling out short men.
“Currently a professional tennis player, but kind of aspiring to be a trad wife. Straight up,” her profile reads.
“Already had my boss babe era. Just wanting to raise my chickens, do home projects, make freshly baked sourdough, be a stay-at-home dog mom, and hopefully pop out some babies soon.
“If you’re going to lie about your height just leave me the f*** alone. This is a no short kings zone.”
She also went viral during the 2025 Australian Open, playing a villainous role and taunting fans after eliminating Australian Destanee Aiava.
