It might be new year, but it’s the same message for the haters from Jordon Hudson.
The 24-year-old cheerleader and girlfriend of NFL legend Bill Belichick once again brushed off her critics with a post on her Instagram Story to welcome 2026.
Hudson reshared her post from the previous year’s New Year’s Day, which featured herself and the 73-year-old coach toasting champagne glasses.
“Nothing changed for us in 2024 except for ‘public knowledge’; yet, somehow everything changed,” read the original post, which had been shared on Jan. 1, 2025. “Fourth calendar year; Going strong. I can’t wait to take punches for you in 2025. Keep swinging, Keyboard Warriors. Your illusion of righteousness only fuels my authenticity.”

Hudson’s repost didn’t include any additional commentary, even though herself and Belichick had quite a newsworthy year in 2025.
Cheerleading competitions
The couple continued to be tabloid fodder, with Belichick appearing in the crowd for Hudson’s adult cheerleading competitions in the past two months.
According to TMZ, Belichick was in Atlanta in December to support Hudson, who was part of the same Code Black squad that she previously had been competing with in a Cheer Extreme All-Stars event in North Carolina, in November.
Belichick was spotted wearing a button-down shirt, jeans and a Navy submarine cap while Hudson wore a short, black top featuring sparkles and a red design on the front, along with a short, black skirt.
Hudson posted a video clip of the team’s performance on Instagram on Sunday.
This was the second time in a month that the University of North Carolina football coach was spotted in the crowd, supporting his partner.
In images that went viral on social media, Belichick was seen sitting in the back row of the crowd rocking his usual grey hoodie as Hudson, a former cheerleader at Bridgewater State University, was competing during the Cheer Extreme All Stars X Evolution exhibition.
Hudson also sported a serious look in the snaps while wearing a sequined black top with sheer sleeves and black shorts.
Tar Heels own losing record under Belichick
The year marked Belichick’s first season in charge of the University of North Carolina Tar Heels –— which turned into a disaster. The team finished 4-8, ranked fourth-last in the ACC and didn’t play in a bowl game.
Belichick and the team has been forced to dodge many off-field distraction, which mostly stem from his relationship with Hudson — who recently appeared to threaten legal action against journalist Pablo Torre.
‘Suing’ Pablo Torre
In a post on Instagram on Nov. 23, Hudson shared a photo of herself wearing a University of North Carolina Tarheels all-access pass with a message to Torre.
“P.S. I’m suing you @pstorre,” Hudson wrote, tagging Torre’s handle and adding a hand heart emoji.
Hudson and Belichick have been the subject of many reports by the ex-ESPN personality, who has done a deep dive over the past year into her relationship with the NFL coaching legend.
No formal legal proceeding reportedly have taken place between the two parties.
