Woman bloodied during wild brawl in stands at Texans-Rams game

The phrase ‘up in the nosebleeds’ was taken literally during a weekend NFL game.

A female Houston Texans fan sitting in the upper deck of Sofi Stadium during Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Rams was left with a gruesome-looking bloody nose after a wild brawl broke out with rival fans.

The violent altercation at Sofi Stadium was caught on video – from several angles – and quickly went viral on social media.

With game action taking place on the field below them, two fans wearing Texans jerseys — a man and a woman – are seen getting into a heated, verbal argument with several fans wearing Rams gear.

After much yelling and pointing, tempers flare and a woman wearing a Rams jersey appears to begin pushing the female Texans fan, which kicks off the brawl.

The two women exchange several punches and kicks while the male Texans fan dumps a drink on the Rams fan’s head. A man wearing an Aaron Donald No. 99 Rams jersey tries to separate the two from his seat in the row above them.

A Rams fan holding a baby in the first row also tries to separate the women, with the person recording the incident commenting on the danger of the situation.

After the scrap briefly stops, the women charge at each other again, exchanging more punches – one of which left the Rams fan bleeding profusely from her nose.

During the exchange, the Rams fan wearing the Donald jersey grabs the male Texans fan and tosses him to the ground, dangerously close to the safety barrier in front of the first row of the upper deck.

As the brawl settles down, several members of stadium security arrive to get the situation under control.

The Texans fans were escorted up to the concourse for questioning and then ejected from the stadium.

In a video after the incident, the female Texans fan said that she plans to take legal action.

“Security just took my boyfriend inside to retrieve my property,” she began.

“They left me out here with zero f***ing anybody, no phone, no nothing. I don’t know. I’m still bleeding from the altercation. I just want this documented for the attorneys going forward.”

The Rams and Inglewood police reportedly have yet to comment on the situation.
