A fight that escalated quickly ended in some rapid de-escalation during Sunday’s NFL game between the L.A. Rams and Detroit Lions.
A blonde woman wearing a Los Angeles jersey fell down several rows of seats after kicking at a Lions fan during a wild altercation in the crowd.
It wasn’t clear at what time in the Rams’ 41-34 win over the visiting Lions at SoFi Stadium that the incident occurred.
A video clip posted on social media site X shows an argument breaking out between a woman wearing a jersey of Lions star Aidan Hutchinson and a group of Rams fans.
After a man wearing sunglasses and a black Rams jersey appears to swat at something in the Lions fan’s hand, she then climbs up onto a seat to confront him.
As he is braced by two other fans in the area, the man then attempts to shove her backwards.
The blonde — wearing a blue Aaron Donald Rams jersey and holding a Modelo beer — then kicks at the Lions fan, losing her footing in the process and tumbling down two rows of seats.
While she lost her beer in the fall, she was able to hang on to the purse secured on her wrist.
It’s unclear if the woman was injured in the incident, but she appeared to quickly attempt to return to her feet and gather herself.
Texans fan bloodied in another incident
This isn’t the first viral fan altercation to happen at a Rams home game this season, either.
A female Houston Texans fan sitting in the upper deck of Sofi Stadium during the season opener against the Rams was left with a gruesome-looking bloody nose after a wild brawl broke out.
The violent altercation was caught on video – from several angles – and quickly went viral on social media.
With game action taking place on the field below them, two fans wearing Texans jerseys — a man and a woman – are seen getting into a heated argument with several fans wearing Rams gear.
After much yelling and pointing, tempers flare and a woman wearing a Rams jersey appears to begin pushing the female Texans fan, which kicks off the brawl.
The two women exchange several punches and kicks while the male Texans fan dumps a drink on the Rams fan’s head. A man wearing an Aaron Donald No. 99 Rams jersey then tried to separate the two from his seat in the row above them.
There was no word on any charges in either incident.
