Las Vegas +9 over DENVER
What a truly awful, undisciplined, just terrible game of football. I feel bad for anybody that watched it in its entirety.
Indianapolis -6 over Atlanta in Germany
This is a pick we don’t feel great about. The Colts offence has gotten all the headlines, but their defence has been solid too – and that’s before trading for Sauce Gardner. However, the Falcons offence is capable of moving the ball quite well when all of their weapons are healthy. Being an international game, we think this could get funky and become a blowout for Indy.
Baltimore -4 over MINNESOTA
The Ravens have had some extra time to rest up and prepare for J.J. McCarthy and Co. Baltimore is a team perfectly capable for a great run in the second half of the season and should pick up momentum.
Cleveland -2.5 over NEW YORK JETS
This one went from ugly to downright disastrous with the Jets fire sale. As easy as it is to make cracks about the Browns, at least they haven’t so clearly thrown in the towel.
CHICAGO -4.5 over New York Giants
The Bears nearly blew it last week, but held on for the win against Cincy. Jaxson Dart has sparked some hope for the Giants, but is on a three-game losing streak and has yet to win on the road.
CAROLINA -5.5 over New Orleans
The Saints are about to see a lot of Rico Dowdle running downhill at them. While it’s a tough pill to swallow laying this many points with the Cats, it’s not like there’s confidence New Orleans can cover.
Buffalo -9.5 over MIAMI
The Dolphins gave it their all against the Bills in Buffalo earlier this season, but considering the ongoing turmoil going in Miami, this one should be a blowout.
TAMPA BAY -2.5 over New England
Standing pat was an interesting move for the Pats at the deadline. While they’ve rolling up wins against some mediocre competition, this is a huge test facing division leader coming off their bye week.

Jacksonville +1 over HOUSTON
As unconvinced as we are about the Jaguars, we’re even less thrilled about the Texans with Davis Mills at QB and the questionable decisions made by the coaching staff last week.
SEATTLE -6.5 over Arizona
You have to take any performance against the Cowboys defence with a grain of salt and we’re not exactly inspired by Jacoby Brissett this week. The Seahawks shouldn’t have much issue dismantling this division rival who is on short rest.
L.A. Rams -3.5 over SAN FRANCISCO
The Niners won their first matchup of the year, but that one was on a Thursday night and went to OT. They’ve also lost even more key players since then, which should make the rematch the Rams’ for the taking.
Detroit -8.5 over WASHINGTON
Marcus Mariota is fine at best, but the Commanders have all sorts of holes for the Lions to exploit in a bounce-back performance.
Pittsburgh +3 over L.A. CHARGERS
The Chargers offensive line situation has just gotten way too dire at this point. The Steelers may be listed as the road team in this one but we know that there will be a ton of Terrible Towels at Sofi Stadium on Sunday night.
GREEN BAY -2.5 over Philadelphia
Were the Packers looking ahead to this during that Panthers loss? The Eagles brought in some reinforcements at the trade deadline, but we like this talented Packers group to bounce back from a rough outing.
Last week: 6-8
This season: 63-71-1
