After being involved in some steamy rumours this summer involving SI Swimsuit cover star Brooks Nader, tennis superstar Jannik Sinner apparently has a different model on his mind.
The 24-year-old Italian revealed over the weekend that he is dating Danish model Laila Hasanovic — and did so in heartwarming fashion.
While making a speech on the court after winning the Vienna Open Sunday, Sinner made sure to acknowledge his girlfriend in attendance.
“Everyone here, my family, girlfriend, friends and my whole team also watching at home, thank you so much for your support,” Sinner said in his speech.
The camera showed a smiling Hasanovic, who was seated with the tennis star’s family.
Hasanovic had been highlighted on camera several times during the broadcast, leaving little mystery to those paying attention.
Speculation about the couple actually began at this year’s U.S. Open. During the event, internet sleuths noticed that when checking his phone after a match, Sinner’s background wallpaper featured a snapshot of Hasanovic.

The model also had been spotted in Sinner’s player box at the French Open, which also sparked some dating buzz online.
Sinner previously had dated fellow tennis star Anna Kalinskaya. They went public with their relationship in May 2024, but a year later he confirmed he was single.
Hasanovic reportedly dated Formula 1 driver Mick Schumacher for three years before the relationship ended in April.
During the U.S. Open, rumours were sparked of a love triangle involving Sinner, Nader and World No. 1 tennis player Carlos Alcaraz.
The cover model for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit commented about the rumours that she was dating Sinner during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live last week.
Towards the end of Kimmel’s interview with Nader, Kimmel asked about the match she attended between Alcaraz and Arthur Rinderknech.
“You were at the U.S. Open on Sunday,” he said while holding a picture of Nader with Late Night host Stephen Colbert and his wife Evie in the stands. “You’re sitting there with Colberts … were you with them or was this a coincidence?”
“This was a coincidence,” Nader replied, after which Kimmel cut straight to the point, asking: “Are you dating the Italian tennis superstar Jannik Sinner?”
Nader looked shocked, but then jokingly asked, “Is this like an interrogation? I’m so scared right now.”
“Well, ask Stephen what match we were at. I don’t think he was playing in that one. You’re close, you’re warm,” she then told the host.

Kimmel then asked if it was somebody else, to which Nader said: “You’re warm, but we weren’t at that match.”
The Nader-Sinner dating rumour came to light last week when Nader’s sisters hinted during a radio interview that the four-time Grand Slam champion had slid into the model’s DMs.
“Every field and court,” Grace Ann Nader said of the athletes who have messaged her star sibling, adding, “It rhymes with winner.”
PUBLICITY STUNT?
A week later, Grace Ann then dropped news that the SI Swimsuit model is actually snuggling up to Alcaraz.
“The rumours are true,” Grace Ann told E! News. “Dating is such a loose term. But I do know he’s the man of the hour.”
Grace Ann — who stars with Brooks and their family in new reality TV show Love Thy Nader — also shared that she’s “dying” to meet the Spanish star, adding he’s “such a cutie.”
However, the rumours were shot down days later and labelled as a publicity stunt. According to Tennis365.com, any relationship rumours with Alcaraz are false with Nader seemingly using him — and Sinner — for publicity.
Spanish journalist Alberto Guzman, who is close to Team Alcaraz, said they are definitely not dating.
