Jena Sims, the wife of golf star Brooks Koepka, revealed on Monday that the couple are “devastated” after suffering a miscarriage.
In an emotional post to Instagram on Monday, Sims shared the heartbreaking news of their lost pregnancy.
Sims, a former SI Swimsuit model, and Koepka already share a two-year-old son named Crew.
“At 16 weeks, we learned that our baby’s heart had stopped beating,” Sims, 36, wrote. “This is a grief no parent is ever prepared for. We are devastated, but remain hopeful to give Crew a sibling one day.”

Sims wrote that she wanted to share the tragic story to help support other women who may be going through the same ordeal.
“Too often, these struggles happen in silence. There is still so much work and research needed to better understand and support women’s reproductive health. If you’re experiencing or have experienced pregnancy loss or infertility, please know you are not alone,” Sims wrote.
“Lastly, I want to recognize the doctors and nurses who must deliver this kind of heartbreaking news every day. It has to be the hardest part of their job, and I’m holding space in my heart for you too.”
Along with the candid caption, Sims shared pictures of a sonogram, her bare belly and what appeared to be a gender reveal cake.
She also posted a video of herself smiling and playing with Crew.
Sims, who has been married to the five-time major winner since 2022, has spoken about their parental partnership in the past.
“We’re just such a good team and we’re really good at delegating,” Sims told Us Weekly in 2023. “He can also read a room. If I’m really stressed, Brooks can pick up on it. He’ll come in and say, ‘I’m changing this diaper’ or ‘I’ll do bedtime tonight.’ He doesn’t have to do all that, but he does.”
