BUFFALO -10.5 over Miami
Mike McDonald surely saved his job with that performance. How long the good will lasts, however, remains to be seen.
Las Vegas +3.5 over WASHINGTON
The Raiders may be on short rest and playing an early start across the country, but Washington got seriously banged up last Thursday and Jayden Daniels isn’t even back on the practice field. We saw this team struggle when he was hobbled and figure taking the points is the safer option.
NEW ENGLAND +1.5 over Pittsburgh
The Patriots get a big boost with top corner Christian Gonzalez back and Drake Maye coming off one of his best games as a pro. Pittsburgh’s defence has yet to show it can slow down anyone yet.
New York Jets +7 over TAMPA BAY
The Bucs got hit with two season-ending injuries to key starters in the trenches and Baker Mayfield is already taking a lot of hits. While the Jets don’t have Justin Fields, it’s not that big of a downgrade to Tyrod Taylor.
L.A. Rams +3.5 over PHILADELPHIA
The Eagles may be 2-0, but haven’t been very convincing, especially in the passing game. The Rams will be looking for some revenge after losing to Philly in the playoffs last year. That extra motivation should go a long way and we could even see a moneyline upset.
Atlanta -5.5 over CAROLINA
It’s all starting to go south for Bryce Young and the Panthers again. The Falcons scored a big, prime-time win over the Vikes, which should make this a cakewalk in comparison.
MINNESOTA -3 over Cincinnati
The Bengals probably have the better backup QB, but the Vikings have homefield advantage and a huge edge when it comes to defence, where Cincy remains pretty poor.

Houston +1.5 over JACKSONVILLE
These teams just both lack that certain ‘it’ factor. The Jaguars seem mediocre across the boards but, while the Texans offence continues to struggle for the second year in a row, the defence looks to be among the best.
Green Bay -7.5 over CLEVELAND
Speaking of best defences, the Packers should have little trouble shutting down anything the Browns want to do this week. Our only concern would be that the Browns own defence fares better at home and the Packers have some injury worries.
TENNESSEE +3.5 over Indianapolis
Daniel Jones and the Colts undoubtedly have been the surprise of the season, but will be hitting the road for the first time this season. Also concerning for Indy is that Tyler Warren and Josh Downs are both banged up.
L.A. CHARGERS -2.5 over Denver
We were big fans of the Broncos coming into this season, but they haven’t pulled it all together yet. It’s tough to judge the Chargers based on their wonky schedule, but we’ll take them in a coin-flip decision here.
SEATTLE -7.5 over New Orleans
Spencer Rattler on the road against a great defence? Yeah, we’ll gladly spot the points.
SAN FRANCISCO +1.5 over Arizona
The Cards have been great at jumping out to decent leads, but have nearly choked away their two wins against vastly inferior competition. Don’t think they fare as well on the road in San Fran.
CHICAGO +1 over Dallas
The Cowboys didn’t look very convincing at home against the Giants and now are favoured on the road? The Bears have problems of their own, but should be able to notch their first win of the season.
NEW YORK GIANTS +6 over Kansas City
The Chiefs aren’t going 0-3 to start the season, but can we trust them to avoid a backdoor cover? Even if it’s the Giants at home, we’ll opt for the points.
BALTIMORE -5 over Detroit
The Lions seriously got back on track at home last week, but the Ravens are a whole different animal to deal with. Baltimore has put up 81 points through two games and should keep rolling against the Lions.
Last week: 10-6
This season: 14-18
