This move certainly wasn’t in the script.
WWE super Nikki Bella revealed on Monday Night Raw that she suffered an injury involving her breast implant during a match.
The 41-year-old hall of famer said that her breast implant was dislocated during the eight-woman tag match when Piper Niven delivered an elbow drop onto her chest.
Nikki shared the story on Friday’s edition of podcast she co-hosts with twin sister Brie Bella.
“We were just out (in the ring) there talking I was just like, ‘Oh my god, I’m having so much fun. I didn’t want the match to end,’” Nikki said on The Nikki & Brie Show. “I was in a little bit of pain, but I didn’t want it to end.”
“I mean, (is) your implant OK? I think it’s stuck in your ribs,” Brie asked.
Nikki confirmed, adding that she went to see a doctor after the match.
“I think it is (stuck in my ribs),” Nikki replied with a laugh “I just was telling Brie, like, having conversations (with the doctor) with my shirt off, and I’m thinking in my head, like, ‘I didn’t think I’d be here today, on my day off in New York City, getting my boobs looked at, knowing that I think my implant has moved.’”
During the match, Niven dove from the top rope, landing on Nikki as her teammates looked shocked.
The 41-year-old was seen holding her chest in discomfort after absorbing the impact.
“It’s been hard to laugh and cough, but it’s OK. We’re going to get it fixed one day,” Nikki said on the podcast.
“I told the doctor, ‘(I’m) newly divorced, so the minute the boots are hung up, I’m coming back to you and we’re going to make these girls look real good. Because these girls are going to get some action in the future and that can’t look like that.”
The twins then joked about the incident with Brie noting “a little bit of a physical difference” in Nikki’s chest.
“By the way, you guys, it’s not that bad of a difference. They still look hot,” Nikki replied, adding that she showed her sister the aftermath.
“I was like, ‘Oh, it reminds me of breastfeeding, like when one gets bigger than the other,’” Brie joked.
Nikki’s implant remained a hot topic when the sisters recorded a live episode of their show on Saturday from the site of WWE SummerSlam.
After being prodded by Brie about it, Nikki provided an update after revealing that it had been the hot topic of conversation backstage at the event.
“I don’t know yet if it exploded or not,” Nikki said. “It still seems intact.
“It’s swollen, it hurts, but I think it might be fine.”
She ended the conversation with a joke about the ordeal.
“I can’t believe I’m loudly talking about this, but hey, you know, it’s 2025,” she said with a smile. “Send well wishes to my fake boob.”
