Did you notice how sloppy every aspect of last Thursday night’s game was? A 10-6 drudge fest with turnovers galore is no way for the NFL to showcase its product. So, here we are again, with another game with two teams that can only run the ball pretty much and love to grind the clock. Maybe the people at the NFL network didn’t look at who they were taking for these games and instead just settled on last season’s records.
While this game shouldn’t be pretty, it should be full of rushing yards and the Panthers have really hit their stride in that department, while the Dolphins just lost their main running back, Ronnie Brown. Without Brown, Ricky Williams will be in charge of the starting RB and wildcat duties, which is a lot more work than you’d expect.
Expect the home team to use their short-week edge again and take a win by a TD at least.
